We did it! We debuted at #10 last year and always had big ambitions – and we are thrilled with our #8 spot in the 2017 Best Places to Work Study! There was some really tough competition in our category this year, so to be recognised among this group of people-focused organisations is an incredible honour. We’re thrilled but we are also humbled.
The widely acclaimed Best Places to Work study is run annually by Great Place to Work Australia, part of a global research and consulting firm specialising in workplace excellence and development of high-trust and high-engagement cultures. Our entire team was anonymously surveyed – we asked for absolute honesty! – and we completed a 30-page submission to allow the judges to rank us on a set of very comprehensive criteria.

Why this is so important to us
To know that 100% of our team – every single survey respondent – believes that there is a ‘family’ or ‘team’ feeling, and that ‘we are all in this together’, is an amazing feeling.
And like with most great achievements, this one is a result of a focused, long-term effort. Creating a culture that attracts the best and brightest minds is a key strategic objective for our business. It’s what makes Mexia great for our customers, our team and our investors.
